SAVE THE DATE: Monday, November 2nd-the night before Election Day. Guest speakers include Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi and Nassau Legislator Kevan Abrahams.

Our organization is a union of concerned citizens. Residents of Uniondale and Hempstead of all races, ages, and various walks of life have joined together to make our hometowns a better place to live and work.

Our mission statement for 2009 is "The People's Campaign", whose purpose is for the people in our community to join forces and take action on the issues of sanitation code enforcement, illegal housing and crime reduction.
We meet on the first Monday of every month at 6:45 p.m. at the Uniondale Public Library.

We cordially invite you to join us. Just click on "our application" on the left, download it, fill it out, and bring it to the next meeting. We'd love to have you join our efforts to make Uniondale a better place.

We hope to see you at our Monday, March 2nd meeting. Dr. Jonathan Lightfoot, Assistant Professor of Foundations, Leadership, and Policy Studies at Hofstra University, will be speaking about, "Insitutional Racism on Long Island - Where do we go from here?"
